I call imposter syndrome “wearing dress-up clothes” to work. I’ve been waiting 15 years for someone to realize I’ve hoodwinked them all into thinking I know a thing or two about investment banking. The reality is I know well more than a thing or two! It’s hard to sit with that self-acknowledgement though, without feeling like it’s cocky. Especially for women.
